Public boat launch ramp is FREE!! Parking is also free!
Features: The bottom drops off sharply along the bay, quickly down to about 4-5 feet, making launching simple unless your rig is really long. The beach and the bay bottom is a mix of sand and oyster shell, so wear your boat shoes. The shells can be extremely sharp.

Note: VHF radio and a reliable motor would be handy. A tow by the pros costs $450! This is shallow water and there can be some real wind, meaning choppy waves. A short, flat boat on this sort of waves can cause seasickness. Be prepared.
