Lake Charles Yacht Club Messabout, 8th Annual

Our 8th Annual 'Small Boat Gathering and Messabout" will be held on the April 4, 2009.  This year's event will be held at the Lake Charles Yacht Club Facility, located on Lake Charles.  

We welcome all small boaters including sail, row, paddle and small power boats.  Activities will include a social boating day on Saturday, April 4, with Hot Dogs for lunch.   Saturday night will feature a 'pot luck' type dinner if anyone is interested.   Also, there are several nice restaurants in town for those that want to dine out.

The Clubhouse is still messed up from Hurricane Ike (Yes, again.) but we have working bathrooms, water and electricity and weather protection.  There is a launch ramp and several slips to tie up in and miles of beach.  The facility is on the Lake of Lake Charles, La. right under the I-10 bridge. 

Bring your ammo for a water balloon war.
