$12 boat
Hello Chuck, attached are pictures of a little jon boat I built
from a plan in a 1966 issue of Popular Science. The boat is built from 1
sheet of 1/4" ply and some 1x4" pine shelving . Back then, the boat was
supposed to cost $12 to build, costs a little more today. The title of the
article was ( A Boat for $12, you can build it). Building this boat was a
lot of fun! I call this little boat "One Sheet Jon". I hope you
enjoy the pics.
