Slot and Tab Canoe
Dear Chuck!
My good friend naval architect Morten Olesen from
Denmark too (www.boatplans.dk),
drew up a 18 footer slot & tab canoe for me, I cut the parts
on a CNC router, but did not build the boat myself (another
one did) anyway I attach some pictures of the project, the seats
and paddles were also part of the package, it is a very stable
canoe.
It is difficult to descripe these pictures, it
could be as following: Here is the packaged cut on CNC router
- panels glued with butt straps. This picture shows the dry
assembled canoe, it took only about 30 minutes before the boat
was 3D. the seats is a part of the packaged, here is the nearly
completed canoe etc. etc.
Best regards
Claus Bak - Denmark
