We are starting a new section this month. It will feature newly launched boats. If you have recently launched a boat, please send me a photo and a little information - chuck.leinweber@gmail.com

This time we have the following boats:

Cabin Pathfinder

Peter A Croft of Christchurch, New Zealand recently launched this John Welsford Pathfinder with the cabin modification. It is built with the front of the cabin square for simplicity rather than with the traditional rounded front.
Hereare Peter and some friends sailing on Akaroa Harbor on New Zealand's Banks Peninsula.

9 Mill Creek Kayaks

Carmans River Maritime Center is a non-profit educational operation dedicated to boatbuilding and other maritime activities. Here is a picture of the 9 CLC Mill Creek kayaks that were built this winter and most of the students.

Little Laker

Here are some photos of Little Laker built by Jeff Cragg in New Zealand. Jeff did a truly impressive job with the build. I love the interior - not a wasted inch - a very high level of craftsmanship. - David Nichols

Cape Anne Storm Kayak

Since I started building my first boat I have been regularly checking out Duckworks for information, inspiration and a few parts. Well, after fifteen months I have finally finished boat and paddle.  It’s a One Ocean Kayaks design, the Cape Anne Storm with a red cedar hull and butternut deck. The graphics are marquetry inlays of my own design.

I was planning to build a second one for the Admiral, but she wants a sail boat instead.  Something just big enough for us and the grand kids.  At the speed I work, the grandkids will be big enough to need a 20-30 footer. Anyway, here are a couple photos of the official launching.

Whitehall 14

Attached are some photos of  last week's "seatrial" on our WH14 Skiff. It is a classic reproduction of the Boston Whitehall (1860 circa) from original plans (Mystic Seaport Naval Museum USA) for this classic rowing/sailing Skiff. It is completely done in wood, classic features, lapstrake with copper nails. We are going to introduce it in the international market soon. Any comments will be great appreciated. Dont hesitate to contact us for any add info. We are looking for worldwide distributors in free areas.
Tks a lot.
