My family took me to the Georgetown Wooden Boat Festival as a birthday present. I had toyed with going for years, but it was always just to busy a time of year for us. It was perfect if you like boats and the ladies in the family prefer antique shops - Georgetown has both. A highlight of the day was the boat building contest.
