Hey Chuck,

I put the Jetfish back on the trailer this morning. The new bottom is finished - including the jetski hull I use to align eng/pump components. I also gave her a fresh coat of Easypoxy electric blue. Last time I spent lots of hours sanding and priming and resanding, the results still looked homemade. This time I spent about one fourth the time priming and sanding with very nearly the same results. I guess if you don't know what you are doing spending a lot of time doing it doesn't help!

Most people probably wouldn't notice, but I see a flattening of the shear as a result of the seven inch wider bottom. Jetfish still has a nice shape and I'm sure all her curves will be back when Gavin adjusts the plans to a 48" straight bottom. 

Next is my favorite part - installing the new 650cc engine. Once the mechanicals are all in their place I'll add a new redesigned aft deck. The last one was just too complicated with five hatches and way too many braces. Simple is lighter and better!
