The English 20

According to Gilbert Gordon, William English "built just about the best canoe in Peterborough."  Although not as will known as the Peterborough and Lakefield Canoe Companies, English was a respected builder.   His original mould for this design for regattas, the #20 is a vee-bottom racing canoe that compromised capacity for speed.
